The sessions provide space for young people to develop their skills in performance and musical theatre, including acting, singing and movement, build confidence, friendships and transferable skills for life. The sessions are delivered in a relaxed environment, meaning there is no pressure to join in the activity straight away.
It is not necessary to have had any previous experience. All abilities are welcome!
This payment covers 4 taster sessions on:

There will be an opportunity for parents and guardians to have a seat in the spaces too if your young person would prefer not to be left alone straight away. Please let us know in advance if you would like to stay for the first sessions.
These sessions will be taking place at the Palace Theatre (97 Oxford Street, M1 6FT) 16:30 - 17:45. New members welcome. Please get in touch with Manchester Creative Learning via email [email protected] to sign up and complete a details form ahead of the first session.

The Palace Theatre of Varieties opened on Whit Monday 1891 and cost its owners the then colossal sum of £40,500. In the late 1970’s the Palace Theatre underwent a major refurbishment and re-opened in 1981 with Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Jesus Christ Superstar and has since then retained its position as the premier provincial touring venue.
