Palace Theatre
Commissioned by Richard D'Oyly Carte and designed by Thomas Edward Collcutt, the Palace Theatre opened in 1891 and is the second oldest theatre on Shaftesbury Lane. Since 1925 the Palace has hosted popular musicals including No, No, Nanette, The Sound of Music and the original West End run of Les Misérables. Owned and operated by Nimax Theatres, the Palace Theatre has been home to Harry Potter and the Cursed Child since 2016.
