There’s fun for all the family with this special addition to Aylesbury’s much-loved, family-friendly literary and arts festival, WhizzFizzFest.
Channeling her judging panel prowess from Strictly Come Dancing, Dame Darcey will be on hand to judge and announce the winner of the ‘DDMix Dance Fitness’ schools’ competition, which encourages local school children to embrace the fun and fitness of dance.
In 2018 Dame Darcey Bussell hosted ‘The Magic of the Dance’ competition at Aylesbury’s annual WhizzFizzFest event. This year her DDMix Dance Fitness competition has expanded with 7 events across the nation, and it all started in Aylesbury.
Compering the show and unquestionably wowing the audience is the sensational magician and illusionist, Maddox. Enjoy live close-up magic first-hand and be sure to hold on to your seats as you’re bound to be blown away with Maddox’s amazing dexterity, imagination, and skill.
We’re also excited to treat your ears with the astounding vocals from the Aylesbury Rock Choir. Enjoy incredible renditions of everyone’s favourite songs as the Aylesbury Rock Choir take to the stage and perform musical mastery.
