New Wimbledon Theatre
'Oliver!' tells the story of a young orphan who escapes from a parochial workhouse and is then picked up by a boy named the Artful Dodger, who introduces him to a gang of child pickpockets led by the conniving but charismatic Fagin. Oliver must then navigate Victorian London's underworld of theft and violence, searching for a home, for a family, and - most importantly - for love.
Our production will feature a cast of over 130 pupils, between the ages of 8 and 18. The show is packed full of huge dance numbers, which will be brought to life by our talented young performers and original choreography. The live band will once again include a large number of student musicians alongside members of staff.

Standing proudly since 1910, New Wimbledon Theatre has garnered a glittering reputation as a premier theatrical venue in South West London. The Grade II listed building has a beautiful Edwardian auditorium and, with a capacity of over 1,500 (one of the largest in London), the venue hosts touring productions as well as an annual pantomime each Christmas.
