The workshop will cover Unarmed techniques from the BADC syllabus; specifically Slaps, Punches and Kicks. We will then take those movements and consider them in the context of choreography.

The workshop will be led by Equity Registered Fight Director Kenan Ali. Kenan is a BADC tutor, martial artist, fencing coach and stunt performer in the creative industries. Recent theatre credits as a Fight Director include: The National Theatre, Sheffield Theatres, Theatre by the Lake. TV Fight Directing credits include Coronation Street for ITV and STAD for SC4 Wales. As a stunt performer Kenan has performed with some of the top action stars in the world.
