Who doesn’t love Dvorak’s New World Symphony with it’s epic drama, aching nostalgia and unforgettable tunes?
It’s been a hit everywhere it’s been played for over a century. Following Humperdinck’s Prelude to Hansel and Gretel,
Grieg’s much-loved piano concerto will be an oasis of poetry and calm, especially in the hands of Leeds Piano Competition winner Anna Tsybuleva, making her debut in our series.

The Victoria Hall was built in 1888 to commemorate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee. It was revamped in the mid-nineties and has since then been at the heart of the Cultural Quarter, alongside its sister venue The Regent Theatre. It has established itself as one of the most popular venues on the touring circuit playing host to the likes of Paul Weller, Morrissey and Jimmy Carr.
