Whether you’re 21 or 61, there’s something in this show for you. Featuring a tight-knit cast, overflowing with wit and comedic timing, Slash Her! places queerness centre stage. It oozes campiness, with elements of drag and an openly non-binary main character. Writer Benji Kemp delicately weaves together moments of absurdity and hilarity with moments of sincerity and earnestness. With vibrant costumes and set pieces that look like they were plucked straight from the 80s, you’re not going to want to miss this.
CakeHorse is a queer theatre company that uses live performance to make a difference, whilst still being silly along the way. After an initial run in Bristol, this is CakeHorse’s first time bringing a production to London.
