Rhoda McGaw Theatre, Woking
Featuring a collection of brand-new, original tracks inspired by the area's fascinating stories, this event has the official royal seal of approval – with songs from the programme performed for HRH Prince Edward during a Royal Visit to Woking last November.
Following a county-wide callout in early 2024, ten talented emerging songwriters from Surrey have delved into the rich tapestry of local history, turning captivating tales into unforgettable melodies. These songs will be premiered for the first time on Sun 15 Jun at the Rhoda McGaw Theatre, showcasing everything from iconic landmarks to beloved local celebrities. It's a night filled with laughter, emotion, and stunning performances, all brought to life by a West End cast and hosted by the brilliant Susie Dent – author, lexicographer, and proud Woking native.
Don't miss out on this unique celebration of Surrey's musical heritage – an evening of heart, history, and song you won't forget!
