Charlie, who was about to head off to a new life in London with his upwardly mobile fiance Nicola, reluctantly and unexpectedly inherits his ailing family owned shoe factory in Northampton. In an effort to avoid complete closure, Charlie forms an unlikely partnership with drag queen Lola to produce a line of high heeled boots to save the business. In the process, Charlie and Lola discover that they are not so different after all.

Simply Theatre are renowned for their high quality productions and this show is no exception. With more long boots, a great message of acceptance and some cracking comedy its a great nights entertainment.

Musical numbers such as 'The Sex is in the Heel' , 'The Land of Lola', 'Not My Father's Son' , 'History of Wrong Guys' and many many more (written by Cindi Lauper) will get you on your feet.
