Mary doesn’t want to grow up, so has run away to the Kensington Gardens where her father, George, tells her the origin story of ‘the boy who wouldn’t grow up’.
Through games and songs they take a flight of imagination into Peter Pan’s earliest adventures: living in the park with Solomon Caw, the talking crow, building a boat and meeting the Queen of the fairies.
As Peter finds his wings, Mary discovers the value of home and family and realises that you don't have to run away to find out that ‘to live is an awfully BIG adventure’.
