Perception is Italia Conti’s Autumn Third Year MT Show; a devised compilation revue that showcases their third-year students in ensemble and solo musical theatre performance, with popular numbers from musical theatre, and rock and pop songs.
The show is divided into eight sections all exploring different aspects of our emotional lives; the interpretation drawn and meaning attached to them, drawn from our senses and experiences, and the power of our perception.
The eight sections explored are Fitting In, Discovery, Identity, Lust, Fortune, Romance, Trapped, and Freedom. Each section will have familiar numbers but will be presented ‘out of context’ with a creative truth of the lyric and text held at the centre of the piece.
