A selection of the players from the orchestra will explore the idea of 2 voices as one; multiple voices from one, with music by Anton Webern, André Jolivet, Gordon Crosse and Louis Andriessen as well as new music by Birmingham-based composers, Isa Gibbs and Zygmund de Somogyi.
Expect driving rhythms, implied ghost melodies and homogenous blends of sound spanning the full range of contemporary instrumental composition in a relaxed lunchtime setting.
The Piano Bar opens at 12:30pm and the performance begins at 1pm. Due to the location of our Piano Bar we regret that this event would not be suitable for customers who experience difficulty with stairs.
