A BIG Band Paean to Nick Care’s life as musician and educator in Aylesbury. A celebration of his life-changing influence and his lasting enrichment of hundreds of young lives, led by multi Grammy award-winner and Aylesbury born, Jules Buckley.

Over 100 musicians, mostly players from Nick’s multi award-winning bands, including the revered Aylesbury Music Centre Dance Band, many now professional musicians who cut their teeth in Nick’s bands and lessons.
Nick’s bands won 30 national & international awards including the BBC Big Band competition 4 times. They performed live on BBC Blue Peter 7 times and international festivals including North Sea Jazz 4 times. They played Buckingham Palace, The Royal Albert Hall, London Palladium, BBC Proms in the Park, Edinburgh and Montreux Jazz Festivals.
