What a Cari-on!
In her latest show, Maureen tries to find the funny from her year of hell: the triple whammy of cancer, property developers and housing associations.
In 2020 Maureen was diagnosed with cancer. Legally forced to stay at home thanks to lockdown, Maureen also had to contend with the neighbour-from-hell, a property developer (let’s call her Mrs C – we’ll let you decide what the C stands for) using a Kango industrial drill from 8 am to 6 pm, day in, day out, renovating a property which she didn’t own and is not entitled to have; unbelievably backed up by a housing association who either didn’t care about these legal technicalities or who don’t understand the term ‘due diligence. Yes, cancer, property developers and housing associations – comedy gold! Or is it? Why not come along and find out!
