Aylesbury Waterside Theatre
Since launching our On Stage productions in 2022, this incredible project has raised over £200,000 for Florence Nightingale Hospice. More than just fundraising, these shows bring our community together—uniting performers, volunteers, and audiences to create something truly special in support of local hospice care.
Based on the hit film, this hilarious musical follows Dewey Finn, a failed, wannabe rock star who decides to earn a few extra bucks by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. There he turns a class of straight-A students into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band. While teaching these pint-sized prodigies what it means to truly rock, Dewey falls for the school’s beautiful, but uptight headmistress, helping her rediscover the wild child within.
All proceeds from the show will go directly to Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity, helping to provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families across Buckinghamshire when they need it most.
Come rock out with us and be part of something amazing!
