Why go and see it?

An iconic score and a timeless narrative; Disney’s The Lion King has it all. As put by the New York Times - “there is simply nothing else like it”.

Brought to the West End by Academy Award-nominated director Julie Taymor, The Lion King, winner of 6 Tony Awards when it premiered on Broadway in 1997, is a powerful and enchanting show inspired by the prominent film. Because of this, ATG have taken the opportunity to make the show accessible for everyone, by prioritising The Lion King Relaxed Performance

Disney’s The Lion King - Relaxed Performance

This inclusive iteration of the multiple award-winning musical is exactly the same type of performance as usual. Only this time, the auditorium has more of a laid-back environment to cater for those with different needs, including autism, learning disabilities and sensory issues. Throughout the show, there is additional trained staff on hand, alongside assigned quiet spaces should anyone need them.

Awe-inspiring. A gorgeous gasp-inducing spectacle

The Lyceum Theatre in London is a long and complex tale of success, downfall and rebirth. It all started in 1772 when the Society of Arts founded a room for exhibitions and concerts near the site of the current building. Since this beginning the Lyceum Theatre has displayed a chameleon tendency, adapting to changing fashions and needs admirably.

Now home to Disney’s ‘The Lion King,’ an average 760,000 patrons enjoy the Lyceum’s hospitality every year. You’ll find the Lyceum Theatre stood grandly in the heart of London’s West End, just minutes away from Covent Garden. Buy your Lyceum tickets from the official online box office today.
