Step siblings Sebastian Valmont and Kathryn Merteuil engage in a cruel bet: Kathryn goads Sebastian into attempting to seduce Annette Hargrove, the headmaster’s virtuous daughter. Weaving a web of secrets and temptation, their crusade wreaks havoc on the students at their exclusive Manhattan high school. It’s not long before the duo become entangled in their own web of deception and unexpected romance, with explosive results…

The Princess Theatre, Torquay first opened its doors on Wednesday 7 June 1961 with Tommy Cooper and Morecombe & Wise top of the bill. It’s South Devon’s largest theatre with a seating capacity of 1514 after an auditorium refurbishment in Spring 2024. The venue has welcomed many West End touring productions including We Will Rock You, SIX, Heathers The Musical, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and Sister Act. Top comedians, Russell Howard, Michael McIntyre, Dawn French, Jimmy Carr, Katherine Ryan and Rob Beckett have graced the stage as part of their UK tours and not forgetting iconic artists - Billy Ocean, Paloma Faith, Level 42, David Essex and Lulu.
