Booking Information - Join our Access Membership Scheme to enable online booking for accessible seats, register for any available Access concessions and, for certain customers, reserve Personal Assistant tickets. Details on how to book Access tickets online are on our Booking With ATG Access Membership page.

Access Parking - We have no specific parking for the venue. However, taxis can drop off and collect outside the venue. Also, there are 4 Access parking spaces outside the accountancy firm Lucraft, Hodgson & Dawes and the restaurant Tonkotsu on New Road, approximately 25 metres from the venue. The nearest car park is the NCP Theatre Car Park on Church Street, BN1 1US.

Step Free Access and Wheelchairs

There is no lift at this venue. Access to the venue through the Box Office on New Road is step-free. All the ground floor is also step-free. We have 7 wheelchair positions in the Stalls: J27, L1, Q1, N28 (end of row) and Q7, R4 & R7 (middle of row). We have 8 aisle seats with adjustable arm rests which are suitable if you wish to transfer to a theatre seat: E1, E17, G20, H1, L28, R1, R10. There is a slight incline in the stalls.

To the Stalls: there are no steps into the Stalls, and no steps to the seats in the Stalls.

To the Royal Circle: from the ground floor, there is a hand-railed staircase of 21 steps. There are a further 9 steps to the Royal Circle Bar. There are steps down to the seats in the Royal Circle and handrails for rows A and B only.

To the Second Circle: from the ground floor, there is a hand-railed staircase of 40 steps. There are steps with handrails down to all rows/seats.

To the Gallery: from the ground floor, there are hand-railed staircases of 71 steps in total. There are 40 steps to the Second Circle and an additional 31 steps to the Gallery from there. There are steps with handrails to all the seats.

All seats in the Stalls, Royal Circle, Second Circle and Gallery fold-down and are individual. They are approximately 40 cm wide and have static armrests. In the Boxes, the seats are individual, straight-back chairs, which are not attached to the floor.

Our ground floor Stalls bar is step-free and wheelchair accessible. Or ask us for At Seat Service when you arrive.

Accessible Toilets - We have a wheelchair accessible toilet located just inside the Stalls bar on the ground floor.

Access Performances - All upcoming Audio Described, Captioned, BSL Interpreted and Relaxed performances are listed on our Assisted Performances page.

Visual Impairment Services - Information about our venue’s audio description, touch tours and other visual services can be found on our Visual Impairment Services page. We recommend seats in rows B, C, D and E in the Stalls for customers who need a closer view of the stage. For Audio Described shows you can sit anywhere in the auditorium as we operate the Mobile Connect app. Touch Tours often accompany Audio Described performances; this will be advertised on the web or brochure page for each show.

Hearing Impairment Services -Information about our venue’s hearing enhancement systems, signed performances and other hearing services can be found on our Hearing Impairment Services page. We use the Mobile Connect system. Just download the app onto your phone and bring your own headphones. We also recommend you read the Mobile Connect instructions. You can use the Mobile Connect system from any seats in the venue. For Captioned performance, we recommend seats in rows B, C, D and E in the stalls. For BSL interpreted performances, we recommend these seats in the stalls: E5-16, F5-16, G4-20, H5-23 and J6-14. We also recommend these seats in the Royal Circle: A5-25

Assistance Dogs - Assistance dogs are welcome and can be looked after by the theatre staff during the performance if requested in advance or on arrival. If you would like your dog to stay with you, please contact us on brightonaccess@atgentertainment.com so we can ensure your seats have suitable space for your dog. Please also check the show information for any trigger warnings, such as unusual lighting or sound effects.
