Becky’s passion for Tap started at a very young age training at Vanessa’s School of Dance in Belper and also having Rhythm Tap Classes with Derek Hartley.
Becky joined Tap Attack in 2011 and completed in the World Tap Dance Championships in Germany. Since then, as well as performing professionally in Pantomime and Children’s Theatre Shows, Becky continued her Tap training with some of the best Tap Masters around the world including Sarah Reich, Roxane Butterfly and Heather Cornell. These are some of her greatest inspirations because of the connection they have to the music and previous Tap Masters who came before them.
Becky regularly performs solo and with her band “Vintage on Tap.” She is also part of the “Sole Rebel” Performance Company in Liverpool.
Becky currently teaches at Performers College in Birmingham, Leicester College, LCPA and runs her own adult classes at Vanessa’s School of Dance and Cabaret Theatre School.
She is very excited to share her passion for the art form with you.
Workshop participants do not need to wear tap shoes, just shoes comfortable to dance in. If you do have your own tap shoes you are encouraged to wear them.
