RARE Productions is one of the UK’s largest theatre movements for young people, and they’re on the hunt for some budding young actors to be in their next production…
This summer, RARE will be bringing Sleeping Beauty to life at the Rhoda McGaw Theatre, Woking.
Open auditions for Sleeping Beauty will be held on Thursday 25th and Saturday 27th April, with two different time slots available on each day.
They will take place in a relaxed, workshop-style environment, and participants will be asked to sing, dance and act. All materials will be provided on the day, and no preparation or booking is required.
Simply turn up, and give it all your all!
Auditions will take approximately 30mins, and auditionees are notified by post within two weeks of the final audition date. All who audition will be contacted whether cast or not.
Rehearsals and Show Week
Each successful auditionee will take part in intensive rehearsals leading up to the show. All cast members will receive a lyric book and any teaching resources required.
The performances of Sleeping Beauty will take place Thursday 22nd – Saturday 24thAugust 2024.
During show week all cast members will take part in at least one dress rehearsal and two full-scale performances of the show.
These will take place at the Rhoda McGaw Theatre with a full team of technical staff, licensed chaperones and wardrobe personnel to support their performance. All set, props and costumes are provided by RARE Productions.
At the end of their final performance each cast member will receive a signed certificate of participation.
