Fortune Theatre
Startling audiences since 1989, The Woman in Black at the Fortune Theatre is a spine-tingling performance. Dubbed “a real thrill of horror” by the Sunday Times, this spellbinding re-enactment of Stephen Mallatratt’s stage adaptation stars only two people, Arthur Kipps and The Actor who are brilliantly played by Julian Forsythe and Matthew Spencer.
When Arthur Kipps becomes consumed with a curse that he believes has been cast over him by a young woman all dressed in black, he seeks the help of a young actor to help tell his chilling story. Soon enough, the two of them become entwined in the dark and blood-curdling story that haunts Kipps.
